Studio Holly and Bows Linen Napkins by Flying Sheep Country - Set of 4
White Studio Holly and Bows napkins use silk embroidery to place green holly and red bows along a shaped linen corner. Each 19-inch square gives four Christmas settings a generous white ground with an unmistakably seasonal detail.
“This is a motif I would show in a broad corner fold. The holly can read as a little garland above the plate, with the red bow at its natural point.”

Care & Ownership
Hand wash in cold water with a detergent for delicate fabrics. Do not wring, bleach or use fabric softener. Ease out excess water with a clean towel and dry flat, gently reshaping the edge. Press while the linen is still slightly damp, working from the reverse over a clean padded towel and keeping the iron moving. Use a pressing cloth over the embroidery. Store fully dry, with the decorated edge folded loosely rather than sharply creased.
Maker / Heritage
Flying Sheep Country grew from the Maitland sisters’ British roots and their lives in Westport, Connecticut, and Sydney. Their eye combines the freely growing patterns of Indian block prints with the more defined outlines of European-style embroidery. The block-printed linens are made with hand-carved wooden blocks by Indian artisans, leaving small variations that belong to the process. In the embroidered designs, shaped edges, dotted borders and fan-like scallops give each place its own frame. Even the name holds a private family reference: childhood drives through the Cotswolds, spotting sheep along the country roads.
